  • swift enforcement agent help

Thank you Kati. I can not reply to the original post. It is a magistrates fine. I have asked and my cab case worker has asked for installments but the agent keeps refusing. He has said that he will come with a locksmith to get into the house . I have told him the car is not here and he said that i have committed an offence by removing it as its on his paperwork as an asset. I have no copy of this all i had was a letter addressed to my husband which said he would come and remove items from the house and he would need proof that my husband didn't actually own anything in the house. I cant give him proof as i no longer have receipts for anything. I have been paying an amount each week but he has said its not enough. Being advised not to let him in and he wont break in is not really helping. My cab case worker was going to try and phone head office but i don't think that is going to help.x

    Re: swift enforcement agent help

Swift are now owned by Marstons.

He may only seize and remove the goods of the debtor. I note you said you informed Swift of your difficulties in paying but did you also notify the Court? It is not an offence to use a vehicle that has been seized - have you been given any paperwork to prove this is the case. Unfortunately Magistrate Court Fines do carry the power to force entry but this should only be if the defendant is wilfully evading the Enforcement Agent.

When was the original fine imposed? What paperwork do you have from Swift?
