H everybody
I love your ongoing open honest advice it's so refreshing.

I would love so advice on PPI and bank charges & debt agency's
I have searched for answers but lots of post started 2007
as the rules keep changing.
Any up to date advance would be most welcome.:tinysmile_grin_t:

And anything relevant please if anybody is willing to help.
i will be eternally grateful I don't know which way to turn.

It would help if you were able to post more specific information, such as the accounts you would like to reclaim PPI and/or charges on, with a little history. :typing: As a general rule, while there are quite a few successes with regards to PPI, bank charges are not that easy to reclaim.

You also mention 'debt agencies', can you be more specific? Are you referring to reclaiming on accounts that have been sold to debt purchasers? Or is this a separate issue?

Ok sorry didn't know if I was allowed.
I know tell me about it.
1.my Husband got a 10K + loan December 2004 + ppi added £1946.00 +12.9%
true to my knowledge
we asked to refinance June 2007 we were surprised that with ppi added would be a fortune we would pay 20 odd ££..more without ppi which was great as we were really struggling he then said no worries I will sort it out we said well how long we were supposed to get the excess founds the day after.
he said I will sort out a £2000 payment + a little ppi until it's sorted
he said you have it already
we didn't ask for or mention when sorting it out over the phone
WE don't want ppi.
We asked if we should return the paper he said no it's fine.
A month later the loan was processed 6 June 2007

The said pay off £15000
1 £11370.99 account number..
2 £2000.00

3. The remainder account number...around £1063.00 to us
so 3 loan numbers but I noticed they changed to a new loan agreement.
when it came to complain about the ppi
we knew didn't have it.

when the redress came about we noticed there were 4 accounts
the first loan was upheld saying we only paid it for nine months I think.
apparently we refinanced in November 2005 bearing in mind The first payment
was February so I'm thinking we had only a small amount we never received a refund breakdown of premiums.

Looking a our bank statements we didn't receive any monies. & fail to see how we would benefit as
But do remember the financial manager calling husband
A mistake had been made & that the house hadn't been secured he would send new banking details
Then sent a letter to confirm the conversation Dated 12th January
sent us a letter saying as per our conversation the direct debit payments will be taken in a different account number.
Please note our payments went up to £335.00 a month & we didn't realize
a judge would say how can you not remember.
We thought they were variable charges as our Mortgage was changing every month with the base rate.
Now we have been sent a offer as they worked it out as 9 months ppi
then no ppi but as it's 10 years ago we just paid the Loan off 2013
when we should have paid off June 2012
the offer is quite good I don't know what to do as something isn't quite right.
or I totally we totally forgot about refinancing a Loan.

But yes debt agency's selling each other portfolios I find out tonight a Standing order to in husbands name is For a Halifax credit card they are still taking the £39.50 a months after selling debt to optima marlin legal paid paying 3 credit cards off since £2008

excessive bank charges 2000- £3000 each year for ten years
not getting statement in correct order misleading info
random debit card payments Sfc Group..... Gym Orange saying I defaulted
when we changed provider
credit history defaults from all dates changing
just to say a few lol

I was very tired.
but as you can see I was very tired.
can anybody please advise me.
any up to date templates to ask for bank charges as lots are for pennies then spiral out of control.
We are in hardship Ive been very ill and my husband doesn't do well sorting things like this out Hence he usually comes back with some sort of product banking product.

I thought I'd update this thread as it sounds silly now I have all SARS!
Credit cards mix up

Halifax £39.50 Month paid as Skintmembers Husband own name
Yorkshire = Marlin £70.00 Month
MBNA = Optima £40.00
marlin have
we still owe plenty & have paid since 2008 2009
they will be coming up to 6 years now but as they keep selling them to each self he has 4 different defaults even though we havnt defaulted on Marlin he gets negative
marks 8 for having defaulted
