  • Cash converters staff stole my jewellery

    Hello all legalbeagle users,

I'm in a bit of a lost end whith cash converters. I put three rings in on a buy back, Two 18ct yellow gold wedding rings, and a 18ct yellow gold 1/2 ct diamond 18th centery ring on an 28 day buy back. When i come to pay for my items i came to find that the employee had been sacked due to theft. Cash converters had asked me if i could claim on my house hold insurance, which i declined. On the invoice it states that cash converters will pay on there insurance if it's out off there control. But they had told me it will ony be the vaule of what they payed to me, which is a sum of £50. I've now looked at the scrap value off the three rings, what come to around £777.00 with todays value, which again i told cash converters this, and they have still said that they are looking for a replacment. Would anyone know what i can do to resolve tis matter as it is now been two month's. No one from the head office, nor the store where i put the items in, seem not to be interested in sorting this out.

Any help with this would be grate. thanks for reading...
