Re: Could do with some advice, please
My view on this remains the same (see post 19) - this is a scam and people who were caught up in it should have (and I believe do have, if they can wade through the mire) legal redress.
In PippaApple's case - I think you, PA, are barking up the wrong tree. It doesn't matter how naive you were in signing the agreement - the fact is that they have not delivered as contracted and therefore you owe them nothing - they have failed to deliver their part of the bargain. Maybe they even owe you for their misrepresentation.
If it were me, I would be coming back to them with a claim for breach of contract etc - they charged you for a service that has not been provided. etc..
Just my opinion....

I'd like to spend some time investigating Reality Expansion (and its various trading names). I'd also like to check out whatever happened to the victims of Inside Track which put itself into administration to avoid the class action claim heading its way.

Re: Could do with some advice, please
I am after some advice please. I am trying to get in contact with RBS in regards to a defaulted account that was satisfied in 2010. I am trying to resolve the issue and pay them off so that they remove the default from my credit file. I got put through to a call centre in Bangladesh or somewhere and they can't help me. Can anyone give me any hints please as to how to contact the recoveries team in Birmingham?
Thanks

If you mean the account was defaulted in 2010 and you haven't made any payments since, it would be just a couple of years away from statute barred, and making any repayment offers at this stage would only reset the clock. :clock: I also have an RBS card I've not paid since 2010 and I've not heard a peep from anyone since Jan 2012. :bounce:
With regards to the default, if it is from 2010, it should be dropping off your file in a couple of years. Paying off the outstanding amount (if any) wouldn't get the default removed, it would still be there but marked as satisfied. It's also worth bearing in mind not all credit searches go back the full six years, some may just search the past three years, unless you're looking for a mortgage, in which case they would be looking at the full six years.
From your post above I'm not sure what the position is, but I hope the above answers your question either way. :thumb:
