I guess I have come across this forum in an hour of need due to a situation which I am beginning to believe is not unique. My partner missed 4 payments on a car loan supplied by RCI and failed to inform me until things started to turn nasty. I have today paid the arrears totalling £706.00 however they are insisting that are intending to repossess the car. Money is not an issue here and I am stunned that she even got into this mess but are they within their rights to claim the car back and is there anything we can do to stop it ?
