  • Newbie Greetings....

    Hello One and All.
I found this site completely accidentally researching a current issue we are dealing with, regarding a property ( the family home) which was left to my husband and his sister in December '12.
We are in an awkward situation as we wish to sell, and quite honestly she is hanging on to it,and we cannot do anything until she decides to act.
So I was just looking, and researching where we stand. We really need our half for a deposit for our own home...
Any advice, or if you could point us in the right direction would be helpful as i feel like we are getting nowhere fast, and we are having to pay to keep the house empty too as its still furnished!!

Sorry guys, its all new to me and I think we need help!

If one excludes murdering the sister, have you considered asking if she would like to buy your husband's share of the house?
