I was firsted quoted £5 .Then I got told they would have to draft the letter saying that son my does not live with me and i would have to pay a solictor £200 on thier hourly rate .All I said is that i wanted a letter to state that my son does not live with me or my wife and to have it signed to that.I even asked if I could draft the letterat home and bring it back to them . I got refused .They have to do it

I drafted a statement regarding the caravan my son lives in . I just drafted a statement to say the van andall its' contents are his took it to my localsolicitor and got charged £10 . they wanted £10 for each additional copy sworn .

Exactly - it should not cost significantly more.
If a commissioner for oaths tried to charge me £200, he'd soon hear a few oaths of the non-commissioned variety. msl:
