I got a letter from my x employer stating all outstanding money would be paid by 21/3/13. They didnt pay my outstanding accrued holiday pay so i sent them a bill on 18th march as i got paid before 21\3/13 and they are now telling me I have to wait until the next payment day on 21/4/13. Can they do this?

If it is a big company then send a message to their CEO stating that and see if they cannot sort that out a little bit quickerOriginally posted by Loxxie View PostI got a letter from my x employer stating all outstanding money would be paid by 21/3/13. They are only a small company - only on of them - but they have a reputation from the staff of not paying - especially with old staff and there are numerous comments on the Internet about them.

My advice is to press the issue for resolution, basically become a pain in the rectum otherwise it will get punted into a long grass and you will not get paid - remember, the value of any service (and working is a service) lasts only as long as service is required, so try to get paid as soon as possible.
