Why did I not know of this forum before today?????? Chanced upon it whilst wondering what to do with a private parking "fine" Some great advice especially from people who have gone through what i am encountering today. Thank You All

Even if it doesn't involve bailiffs, it's where Parking Fines get picked up on the site.

Hey thanks for the welcome and advice. My problem is the old nutmeg "Parking Eye". Having read that particular link then I too choose to ignore their outrageous demands. Watch this space

Yes, either ignore, or appeal and then ignore is our usual advice. Expect a string of increasingly nasty letters through the post though, which should stop.

Be aware there is a very very small chance of them taking you to court. If this happens and you defend, there is only a very, very tiny chance of them winning. You should be on strong ground.
