  • Hi, I'm new to this!

Hi, I found this forum on google when looking for info on Mackenzie Hall (not a popular company I see!)
I am needing advice on our joint bank account included on hubbies IVA and how to deal with MH.
Once I've found my way around I will delight you all with my questions and probably prove to you all that I'm not very clued up when it comes to dealing with these debt recovery companies!

    Regards

    Watchya.
Mucky Hall are easy to deal with, simply IGNORE them.
They specialise in the totally unenforceable and statute barred debts.
You have nothing to say to them, ever, as communication just encourages them into further fantasies.

MacKenzie Hall have been sanctioned by the OFT for the way they treat debtors and risk losing their CCL if they don't stop their bully tactics. I sent them a copy of the OFT Requirements when they wrote to me about a disputed debt and I never heard from them again.

You can download and print out a copy from this OFT Press Release in case you ever need it

          Hi, thanks for the welcomes.
I will explain my situation a bit later today in a new thread cos I'm not sure where I stand regarding my debt...it may be that they can chase me for it.

If a company could have chased you for this alleged debt it never would have been passed on to Mackenzie Hall. As Curlyben states they specialise in Non enforceable debt and Statute Barred debt. Ignore them.

Are you being chased for a debt that's already been included in an IVA? That doesn't sound right!

Sounds typical of Muck Hall though
