I have a complaint against them with FOS re. use of different names, confusion.

MKDP LLP had no CCL before 23/11/09
Here - "I've noticed these jokers have registered a default with the CRA's for an account I have no knowledge of. They registered the default with a date of September 2009 which is before they had a consumer credit licence, so I'm rather assuming there is a complaint to the OFT right there"

I need to check this and if correct, add it to my FOS complaint.

Update
MKDP LLP have only held a CCL since 23-Nov-2009.
Yet they were on my credit file with default dated 19/12/06, until 15/05/12, when they 'updated' it.

Thanks so much dogtired!!! - I put 100s of hours into it 2006 and got nowhere.
But back then, I hadn't met Legal Beagles, miliitant and others on this forum.
Also, I don't remember there being thousands of posts about Welcome Finance loans around the internet.
Nor did I know of any consumer forums.
Also, LB has tolerated my using this thread as a 'repository'.
I am particularly grateful for miliitant's contributions and his bravery in tackling Welcome.
I read he is a union official and used to standing up to bullying.
This, I think, has stood many querants on this forum in very good stead.
Also, the tenacity and teamwork in this forum in seeing through wrongful corporate tactics and bodies is to be applauded.
This tenacity and spirit could at times be taken as 'defamation' etc, but it is a needed function to redress the balance.
Otherwise, we'd never question anything.
Nor would we have free speech.

These things are what has made the difference to my 2006 position - and thanks :tinysmile_kiss_t4:

Goals are important and shouldn't be confused.
A clashing set of goals, for example, may weaken cases and/or destroy arguments.

The final goal must be truth, justice and integrity or it won't work (see following post)

I'm not sure that mediation without documents is going to go anywhere.
Maybe LawWorks will have the answer.

Dear Joanna,

Can you help me? I saw your organisation at the LawWorks website.

I am a self-employed clairvoyant, homeworker, on x benefit and x benefit.

I am currently trying to clear £xxk from my credit file - Welcome Finance/MKDP LLP/MKRR (issues with consumer credit licenses, OFT, etc.)
I am also in dispute with my landlord and letting agent about various expenses and losses incurred to me in my flat tenancy, including reputation.
This may throw my housing benefit into dispute, and being withheld.
I think this may be best as the 2 parties will not respond to my complaints.
However, I have no experience of HB in dispute.
And, there could be a risk of eviction, and I've spent 2 years building up a reasonable home here, after years of unsatisfactory housing.
Those years culminated in slum housing at my last address.
Issues of right to evict (law - tried and failed in European Law of Human Rights, but in my case and many others I believe it's an unfair trading issue CPUTR), non-regulation of private rented sector (system), Tick-Box Scheme I suggested to Stephen Gilbert (system), the right to own another man's home and evict him; the commercialisation of housing; do people have a right to a 'home'? (philosophy behind the law and the system).

I have health as well as poverty issues and these have been exacerbated by the issues with Welcome as well as housing situation.
In meeting with Legal aid case worker this week, she expressed her prejudice against me as HB tenant. I should clean filthy cooker on entry into tenancy.
If I wasn't dealing with these problems, my money situation "would, provably" be better (circumstantial evidence).

I look for help for myself but I'm always with a mind to others.

thank you Christian, I too have been helped by this forum and also have issues with Welcome.
rejected a settlement of ppi as they wanted us to sign a new agreement.
Got a firm called Incasso involved who, I found out, had among its "consultants" someone who had worked for, among others Cattles plc.
They paid our fee for CCA into the alleged account, nothing from them since March though!
