hi all and thanks in advance

I will be paying my 2012/2013 council tax plus extra each month for a liability order of £455.00 from last year but the council want more than I have offered and I really cant afford any more money so are threatening me with a attachment of earnings,so my question is can they contact my employer directly without it going back to court or does it have to be a court judgement that allows this to happen

    hiya..
from what i have read they need a liability order (which i believe they get via a court) and then can simply advise your employer of the deductions
