        Re: Need advice please

Sorry I didn't give any info.

My sons girlfriend who was also my neighbour attacked me in my garden,
my partner and my son got her off me, she was like a lunatic and was lashing out at my son, he pushed her on the ground,
we called the police, they came and went to see her as she hurt her leg in the scuffle,
she told the police that we attacked her.
the police came in my house and arrested me and my son, locked us up all night and we had to sign bail 2mths later.
my statement, my sons and partners were more or less the same, hers was totally different.
the police said its in the hands of cps and we were told we'd get a summons thru the post.
this was nearly a year ago. We haven't heard anything at all.

        Thanx in advance.

          Why?

Did she overhear you telling him that he should be able to pull a better class of girl than that slapper?

Haha, no she didn't, they had argued and split up and she was drunk and shouting abuse and threw rubbish in my garden. then she climbed over the fence and attacked me. She's a nutter, and my son is well rid, and she's moved now thank god.

Have you spoken to the police at all about this? I would give the local police who dealt with this a call and see if they can assist at all.

After a year has passed by, it is extremely unlikely that there is going to be any sort of prosecution, but I can understand you wanting to get closure.
"Although scalar fields are Lorentz scalars, they may transform nontrivially under other symmetries, such as flavour or isospin. For example, the pion is invariant under the restricted Lorentz group, but is an isospin triplet (meaning it transforms like a three component vector under the SU(2) isospin symmetry). Furthermore, it picks up a negative phase under parity inversion, so it transforms nontrivially under the full Lorentz group; such particles are called pseudoscalar rather than scalar. Most mesons are pseudoscalar particles." (finally explained to a captivated Celestine by Professor Brian Cox on Wednesday 27th June 2012 )

What was the likely charge to be?

For some offences, a Notice of Intention to Prosecute has to be sent within six months of the alleged offence; if is were to be sent later than that, the prosecution would fail.

I'm astounded that the police - who are often/usually too indolent to bother about such matters - could be bothered to complete the paperwork, as the likeliest outcome if it ever reached court would be a binding over order or a conditional (or absolute) discharge.

Thanx for your reply, I don't know what they were going to charge us with. It was so frustrating that she claimed we attacked her, but it was her who attacked me.
                    Thanx again.

Generally when its he said she said stuff the police say if both parties agree to drop then nothing is to come from it.

assuming you made a complaint against her.

Give them a call stating your case ref. number.
