    hi im new to all this,hope someone can help.to keep it short,i had ppi reclaimed by a firm of solicitors,who also offered to scrap my 2 credit cards due to the loophole in the cca being unenforcable.now my firm of solicitors has closed handing my case to another firm ,who have just recently retired.i recieved a letter from another solicitor to tell me they had taken over my case,and had on a barristers say so dropped my case .i was told by my first solicitor my two cards were unenforcable.this has been ongoing since april 09.ive now recieved letters from lowells&fredricksons int.debt collection agencies saying my debt has been sold on to them .im at my wits end and would like to know where i stand .thanks in advance

    On what date were the credit cards first taken out?

      Did they charge an upfront fee? for the UE service

        cards taken out early 1980s,yes i paid fees upfront

          If you want to explore the unenforceabilty route, the first thing you need to do is send off a CCA request to the owner of the debt. There's a template letter in the debts section under DCA's and they carry a fee of £1.00. The company then has 12+2 working days to respond to your request.
