  • Hello :-)

Hello Everyone, thought i would introduce byself and say Hi!

I've been following the PPI forum intently for the last few months as we have a decent sized loan with Halifax (20k) to which they added Single Premium PPI to (costing £4500 + £2000 interest on that) otherwise it wouldn't have been approved (foolish i know but we didnt know any different at the time and the salesman seemed so genuine :tinysmile_aha_t!!! We've so far paid 39 of the 72 repayments!

So we have a claim on hold with Halifax (since Oct 2010) and are still paying for this PPI as it's 'too complicated to cancel'.

Any advice anyone can give would be hugely appreciated!

    Thanks

    Re: Hello :-)

Firstly, please write to them and ask them to cancel the PPI policy in full and to confirm the cancellation in writing to you. It isn't that difficult to do.

You should start to receive information from Halifax with regards to settlement of the PPI claim shortly as all claims are no longer on hold.

And finally......a warm welcome to the site.
