I have received a phone call this morning from a company calling themselves ConsumerMoneyMatters telling me all about PPI and that I can claim this back etc. It all sounds feasible but the phone number they gave me does not match the phone number on their website. Its only the last four digits that are different. They are ringing back later this evening and I dont know if they are genuine or not.

Bin it---this site can help you for free---not the 20-25% they will want up front ( and then probabably renege & disband)

Re: Advice
I would have nothing to do with any Claims Management Company, whether or not they are registered with MoJ or not.
PPI can be recovered along with statutory interest relatively easily with the help on this site plus if you want to make a fight of it, interest in restitution .
Anyway welcome, I'm a newbie myself here, the experts will be along I am sure shortly
regards
Garlok
