  • Advice regarding a will

My Mother died last year and in her will she has made my brother an executor.I have recieved a copy of her will from the solicitor. Her will was written in 2005 and states her address at the time as her house she owned. She sold this property approx twelve months later and bought a flat which she was living in at the time of her death, my brother has been left the majority of her estate except for me getting half any remainder i. e her property.
My question is as there was a there is a substantial amount of cash left from the sale of her house can i claim half of this amount plus my share that i have in her flat.
    Any help or advice??
