  • Hi everyone and Happy New year

A first post to say HI! and tomorrow I will look for the correct place to ask my question about being chased for non payment of rent on a business lease I assigned.

Very quickly, I'm now abroad and would like to find out how hard (or easy?) it is for the courts in the UK to help this landlord get money from me.

Would really appreciate some legal advice on where I stand but don't know who to ask now that I'm not in the UK.

    Cheers!

Hi Dizzy Di and thank you for your welcome. I have made a more detailed post in the 'debts/business debts' forum but I'm yet to receive any advice. If anyone can suggest where I should start (or if doing nothing is an option?) that would be something.

      Many thanks.
