Evening everyone, I'm new here and am having trouble with Lowell it's a debt in my OH's name which I'm trying to get to the bottom of.

I'm going to have a read through some more threads and come back if I get stuck - just wanted to say hi!

Hi, I experinced the Lowlife at Lowell's. I won, they lost (10 thousand 500 pounds).

They specialise in attempting to trick people into paying large amounts of money for questionable debts that they buy for pennies in the pound.

In my case it was a debt without a CCA and they had to write it off (LOL).

Their staff are obnoxious liars so rule number one:

everything in writing, refuse to discuss anything on the phone. Send a template letter avialable on this site, stating that.

Give us as many details as possible and we will all help you.

I am also having trouble with LOWELL'S i sent a request for proof of a debt which is 7 years old [statute of limitations] and got a letter back from FREDRICKSON INTERNATIONAL. for the same debt ?? i am sure these people all work in the same building and just pass these papers around. incidentaly they are also connected with the dreaded BRIAN CARTER
