Hi I am new here and have had a succesful bank claim recently on behalf of my son against the Lloyds Tsb along with this I was also successful in obtaining a wasted costs order against the Lloyds Tsb

My son as further charges which i`d like to attempt to claim back but are unsure about this do to stays and the fear of my sons account being closed, surely the banks won`t tolerate their customers keep claiming?

Congrats on the successful claim, I'd advise that you continue the process as before, but the likelyhood is that your claim will be stayed, we are looking at individual cases to remove stays, but unless you can demonstrate hardship to the courts, I'd say it was unlikely until the end of the test case.

          Hi Laura and welcome

Congratulations on the successful claim, banks have been warned by the FOS not to take retaliatory action such as closing peoples accounts and hopefully after the test case, they won't have much of an argument and things will become much easier in relation to claims - well that's me, glass half full and all that!!!

We have got a while to wait for a result but it is recommended that you register your claim with the bank while the test case is ongoing so at least you're in 'the queue'

You're in the right place for practical advice and support so hoping to see you around the site.

Cheers for replies much appreciated, son is disabled (Mentally & Physically) and on benefits courts tend to take pity on our case so probably would with another claim?

From that, I assume you receive state benefits? If so, we could argue hardship.
