    Glad I found you

    Hello everyone. Boy am I glad to have found this sight. I've been shaking off creditors for 20 years since losing my home and livelihood under Maggie Thatcher, and in particular over the last 10 years since suffering two heart attacks and being out of work. Reading through some of the forums, I can see now I've made mistakes in my approach to creditors. So hopefully I'll learn a great deal from your combined knowledge. My eyes have been opened at last.

        "Although scalar fields are Lorentz scalars, they may transform nontrivially under other symmetries, such as flavour or isospin. For example, the pion is invariant under the restricted Lorentz group, but is an isospin triplet (meaning it transforms like a three component vector under the SU(2) isospin symmetry). Furthermore, it picks up a negative phase under parity inversion, so it transforms nontrivially under the full Lorentz group; such particles are called pseudoscalar rather than scalar. Most mesons are pseudoscalar particles." (finally explained to a captivated Celestine by Professor Brian Cox on Wednesday 27th June 2012 )
