  • Hi guys - new to forum and need advice

I only joined this site today after being referred to it by my cousin.

I posted the problem I have as a thread on another forum (see link - http://www.legalbeagles.info/forums/...ad.php?t=22437).

ithout having to write it all out again I'd be grateful if anyone knows the legal standpoint on this.

Since I originally posted the problem, I received a letter from the solicitors. It included an extract decree - payment granted by the court on 29 July 2009.

They have since invoked an attachment order for seizing assets. During this process I was not informed of such action, nor was I summoned to court to defend. The solicitors cite that this was not necessary as this was not an exceptional attachment order.

The first I knew of any attachment order, or of any proposed visit by sheriff officers was on Monday when a single sheet of paper was put through my letter box notifying me of a proposed visit on 13/04/10.

Amy has responded to you on the other thread. I would respond to her on that thread and leave this one, ok?
