  • Hello

    Hello everyone

I am having a problem with the builder that built my new home about 18 months ago.

The situation is my home was built without a radon barrier being installed which was stated on the plans.

I have held back money from the builder because he did not do what was agreed on plans ,

Now he is threatening to take me to court and keeps sending me solictors letters.

Please can someone tell me my legal rights.

    Your Help is greatly appreciated

    Regards

    Trawlerman

    Re: Hello

    Hi Trawlerman,

I'm sorry I can't help you really but I'm sure someone who can will pop along presently. In the meantime I personally believe that if he took you to court and you can prove he has not performed the task as prescribed then I should think a judge would fin in your favour, my thats only my opinion.
