hi derralou here, just a single mum unable to work and it seems i keep getting dumped on by landlords and anyone i ask for help. I am unable to work due to disability. and as i have given notice on the property i am in as i simply cannot afford the rent i have no option but to be homeless. I have nowhere to turn to and everywhere i turn for help im told sorry can't help you.

do i just take it? or can i take action?

Hello derralou and a warm welcome to Beagles.
You say you have asked for help and have been refused, I think you may have to give us a little more info about this if you can.
A single parent, with disabilities would be almost top priority on a council housing list, if you are only able to rent privately then I suggest you get your benefits checked you should be able to get by on the right benefits. If you are in full receipt of all you are entitled to and are still threatened with homelessness then I suggest you contact these people Shelter, the housing and homelessness charity - choose your location

Your question "can I take action" who would you be referring to, to take action against?
