  • Next step advice, action against telecoms supplier

Main goal achieved in this case but could I get more?

I got Virgin Media to remove the duct and wall box they had blighted my house with and without my consent to put it there or anywhere.
I'm still owed minor amounts of compensation for damage.

I would forget those if it weren't for the issue I have against them
    - in trying to persuade me to accept the poor external work (now removed) they told my existing supplier to disconnect.
Because of the poor work and disconnection I stopped any further contract with them.
No money was ever deducted from my account.

I was without broadband communications for just over a month because of this. I suspect it was a criminal act.
Instead of reinstating the existing provider by saying "we made a mistake, reconnect that house" they messed around for another 14 months, telling me to complain to OCU.

This year OCU removed the duct, and I heard of their shocking standards and have since learned of others who have experienced total audacity from the duo.
Liberty Blume (which uses a mining implement for a logo, disguised as a flower, and owned by Liberty Global who tried to dodge tax on over $3billion USD) were the brick wall after about ten months.

Virgin Media's responses had alternated between "Wow we are ready to sort this for you" and "we are really stupid". They are textbook audacity.

Ofcom had ignored me repeatedly regarding the disconnection. But around that time Ofcom was fining them £23.8 million for their contempt of vulnerable customers.

The evidence for the case is about 80 items. The last two were ridiculously long winded to tire any court staff.
The only reason they acted is because I went from asking for a low amount to asking for £50,000. They realised it will go to court.

I don't know whether to take the case to court on the basis of a few items of damage and the main one (maybe £5-10,000) of special damages, emotional suffering. For 14 months I thought my house was blighted in value because of the joke siting of the duct and wall box (removed now).
I could also go back to Ofcom with the details of progress.
Also the MP. I'm not going to pray for a resolution.
