  • Hi All

Hi All, Long time lurker, thought I'd best get registered. Ilness struck 18 months ago leaving me unable to run my business anymore.
I'd gotten stuck in the usage trap of credit card shuffle, the second I went over 70% usage the 0% offers stopped and my finances spiraled from there. Despite calls to the credit card companies and banks for reducing my over drafts every 3 months without my agreement.

Hands up it was all my fault for not managing money correctly, after a bad year work wise the amounts got silly, well for me around 40k spread over 3x cards is a lot of money! Looking at the interest I was paying per month, the debts would have taken me the forever to pay back even when working full time. I know I had to do something about it the second I got ill.

I've had all 3 default notices now and one LBA in September 2025. I've only just received a response back today with a reconstituted credit agreement from the PRA Group for a 12k Barclaycard debt.

Looking for some advice on where to post for advice here. I'm hoping uploading the cca response could shed some light on whether to offer a monthly payment, or continue the fight with this debt.

    Cheers
    Rich
