  • Overdraft Charges

I have had quite a lot of overdraft charges, with The Co-operative Bank, I have spoken, to the Financial Ombudsman Service, they did not get any
of the charges, back and were unhelpful, is there any way I can get all of my charges refunded, any help would be greatful.

Did you make a 'Hardship' claim?

There is no guarantee that they will refund charges. There needs to be circumstances
why you were a 'vulnerable customer' i.e. you were ill etc, when they added the charges.
        So you'll need evidence.

How much were you charged each time you went overdrawn and how much were you charged in a typical month?

For what reason do you think they should be refunded?

From a couple of pounds to £20 I have taken them to the small claims courts, they have not responded to my claim.

You didn't answer the main question "For what reason do you think they should be refunded?"

Those charges seem quite reasonable unless they made a mistake and you did not go overdrawn. So did you always have sufficient funds in the account to pay all your bills or did you on occasion have to use the bank's money without agreeing in advance what extra charges would be incurred?
