Consent Order Urgent

I have a multitude of health issues including severe COPD, Emphysema, Agoraphobia (for over 25 years) Depression, Severe Anxiety & I cannot use a phone, open letters and struggle with digital contact. I was evicted from a council property in 2019. I had inherited my childhood home after losing my father but i was grieving, suffering with a bad menopause on top of the heath issues i already had. I was overwhelmed and failed to inform DWP and ended up in arrears for council tax and rent due to over payment. I managed to clear these but in the meantime unbeknown to me several court cases had happened and the court costs led to me being evicted. The claim for possession of my then home, the council claimed i was in court and spoke but i was not even aware of the hearing. Three days after the eviction the council cancelled the Warrant for possession.
I was traumatised after the eviction as i was reassured by both support workers and council that ir wouldn't happen. Immediately after i moved the support was withdrawn despite requesting a further 2 or 3 hour visits as oi knew i wouldn't be able to set everything up with my issues with using the phone and opening mail but it was refused. Two months after i had moved i reached out for help emailed counciltaxhelp@cardiff.gov.uk and told them i was at crisis point explained my issues again, and asked for help. They just told me to contact bailiffs and contact council and go to the hub in the centre of Cardiff. Ignored everything i had said and told me to do what i was unable to do. I went back to my bubble and 5 years along the line was hit with an application for an order for sale. This was at the beginning of this year and i have forced myself to make and keep contact with the council. I must say i do not trust them. It has been a seriously hard year so far as i have had to do things that put me in a very dark place.
I had a charging order put on my home which meant that £8405 arrears were secured under that, there was a further £1200 odd on top, not secured.
I managed to get the total down to £7469 without any agreement and have ongoing full CTR. I sent all the documents requested and agreed to pay £200 per month although i would have preferred lower they insisted on £200. I set up direct debit and sent proof.
I then received a Consent Order that added almost £3500 to the total, wiping out any progress i had made and when i asked what for they just say charges and interest and insist i sign consent form digitally and return urgently. But i have serious issues with the Consent order which basically signs my home over to them without going back to court and sells my home and i pay for the whole thing. It petrifies me!
I have a support worker coming in an hour and i know he will insist on me signing, any advice please???

If you can print out a letter, state in the letter that you are 'vulnerable' and need 21 days to seek advice from CAB,
and they would agree that is important for you and them that you seek advice. Make sure they get a copy and you keep a copy.
It might be an idea to send a copy in the post, make sure you get Proof of Postage.

That gives you time to book an appointment with CAB.

BUT I have told them several times that i am vulnerable, they said they have no proof. I sent a general printout from my GP because he said they were not doing letters at the moment because they are too busy, so i sent a DSAR for my full medical records. Despite suffering from agoraphobia for 25 years plus, I was forced to go to surgery to show ID in person to request the DSAR and again to collect it. The records i received only went back to 2019 when i changed GP due to being evicted and moving, even though my previous GP and my present GP are now in partnership.
I sent the council the full DSAR that i had received along with various related letters. This made no difference whatsoever. They know i am vulnerable as its evident from DSAR i sent to council but its changed nothing. They even state that the reason my application for a 13a was refused was because i had to sell a previous property to clear previous debts and may have cash left over, but we don't have details. BUT I have never owned any other property apart from the house i live in, my childhood home that i inherited and the one they have a charging order on.
i have never sold a property, ever.
They withdrew the support that would have prevented this situation, then ignored me reaching out for help, ignored my complaint pointing out that this could have been avoided and in the reply to my complaint they just point out that they have made every effort by sending 68 letters, emails etc when i clearly explain my issue with letters etc. I also made the point that they could have directly deducted from my benefits and stopped the build up of arrears especially because the knew my position from my previous property. They lied basically and said they were not aware of my employment status. The DSAR shows clearly that they did & accessed the CIS system on many occasions, plus they have record of 30 years historic housing benefit payments.
I had no choice as a court date has already been set for the order of sale, I had to sign the Consent Order, I feel abused and coerced and forced into a corner with no choice, i even got to pay their court costs! I am exhausted now, feeling drained and hopeless.

Did you contact CAB?
You need help dealing with this.

It's hard to contact anyone with my issues with using the phone etc. especially at the moment as my anxiety is draining and worse than usual. My support worker has spoken to speak easy and shelter but not CAB.
