  • Not a legal matter but does anyone know?

I am trying to get high speed internet. Underground cables were laid a few years ago. I recently went through the motions only to find that the internet company couldn't supply because of a fault or blockage in the underground cables 11 houses away from mine.

Trying to resolve, some say Outnet is responsible, others say the Highways dept is responsible.

Has anyone encountered a similar problem?

    Thank you and apologies

I'd say it's whoever laid the 'underground cables' (they - contractors didn't do the job they were hired to do), you need to find out who hired them to do the job, was it the council?

Thank you. As far as I know, the council subcontracted. I'll try the council.

      Thank again
