justice help you have already been signed posted to our sister site in the thread you have already started on this subject. Linked to again below

Also you can try the Law Society find a solicitor search service

    https://solicitors.lawsociety.org.uk/

    Hope this helps.

I do not provide advice by PM although I may on occasion ask you to send me documents this way but any related advice will be provided back on your thread.

I do my best to provide good practical advice, however I do so without liability.
If you have any doubts then do please seek professional legal advice.

" Many thanks for the above direction which I did follow. Regrettably I have tried those and no help to me, as most are not in my district, and most report their quotas are full.

The last suggestion of your have drawn a blank there is contact the Legal Aid Agency if you have not already done so.

        Email : contactcivil@justice.gov.uk

        Phone: 0300 200 2020

Unfortunately, Legal Aid is in short supply in terms of both what it will fund and solicitors available to do the work.

As a supervising solicitor in a university law school legal advice clinic -

                  1. Not all universities have legal advice clinics.

                  2. Clinics give legal advice - most do not take on and handle cases in the same way as solicitors.

                  3. Now is a bad time of year. The academic year is coming to a close, and the next academic year starts late September, with clinics in many cases not reopening until October.

Sorry if I have put a dampener on that idea. You can but contact your local universities and see.
Lawyer (solicitor) - retired from practice, now supervising solicitor in a university law clinic. I do not advise by private message.

All very valid points of course! I just thought the OP may be able to get some general advice but the time of year of course is against us. Still worth a contact though - costs nothing!
