Utilities bidder

I entered into a business contract with utilities business on 27th February 2025 ( hair salon)
The same day my existing supplier offered me a better deal to stay with them - I told them they were too late I had already signed up with Scottish power
my existing supplier ( Valda) said no problem we can refuse the switch !
I have been ignoring emails from Scottish power about Valda refusing the switch
I now have a preaction email from a debt company asking for £2000 for breach of contract with utility bidder
I’m worried sick and don’t know what to do next

Can you post up a timeline of events, with the dates you received any documentation.

Need details as to how it 'unfolded'.

If you had an existing agreement with Valda, why are Utility Bidder still involved?
