Hi new on this forum and need some help with a query. I have a debt with Shop Direct and was taken to court about 10 years ago. The court issued a CCJ and payment to be made to Drysden. I have paid this debt every month on time via a standing order. Today out of the blue a letter came stating they needed to review my situation and request I fill in an I&E form and return within next 28 days. My question is if the court has set an amount for me to pay every month can the company now ask ths information and do I need to respond? I've had no correspondence from them since it went to court years ago. Any advice appreciated. Thanks

The judgement creditor can ask the court to review the payments. It is not unreasonable to enquire whether your circumstances have changed in 10 years.Lawyer (solicitor) - retired from practice, now supervising solicitor in a university law clinic. I do not advise by private message.

You could fill in an I & E form, take into consideration the 'cost of living', food, fuel etc.
If you can only pay £1 a month so be it. Give yourself some 'leeway' because things could increase quickly.
