  • Damage to fencing

At the end of my garden used to be trees and I replaced it with a fence. After a year or 2 the owner of the bungalow to the right of my property at the end of my garden asked if they could extend my fence across the end of my parallel neighbours garden but didn't tell me they would be closing against my fence with the return so boxing in a corner of my garden beyond the fence and then removing the original boundary wall and land grabbing the right of access from the original building works.
This in itself was not a problem but they current owner has now taken to painting their side of my fence but now coming into my garden and painting a third of my fence without my permission a dark black and on this occasion cutting down completely one of 2 bay tree bushes against the fence.
I have photos of their original boundary and the invoice for the fence. Also, my fence is an entirely different construction to the extension.
I went around to talk with them but they have a secure property with no access or call box.
They recently applied for planning permission and although I did not object I did note that there was an issue with the fence so it is documented.
What is my next course of action.
