    Hi can anyone help and give me information on how I can get a charge on my title deeds from Skye loans we didn’t know it was on our deeds my lawyer can’t get a response as Skye loans don’t seem to exist

        You state you didn't know there was a charge on your property.
        Was it put there before or after you purchased the property?

          We had a secured loan with Blackhorse who sold all loans to Skye loans we paid loan off and thought it was removed only to fine we have paid off mortgage and our deeds show charge we were never told it was on land registry

            If you had a secured loan, it would have been registered as a charge on the property.
            It should have been removed when the loan was repaid

            when the repayment was completed did you receive a redemption letter and/or form DS1 from the lender/

              No paperwork from them as it was 2015 I see from other forums a lot of people are the same

                What name appears on the Land registry file restriction, Blackhorse or Skye loans?

                  Have done a quick search and found lots of old posts here on LB and on MSE
                  It looks like you might have to make a complaint to FCA to get anywhere.
                  Skye Loans aren't registered with FCA so shouldn't be accepting payments, i read somewhere it should be LINK who take payments on behalf of SKYE.

                  Hopefully someone with more understanding of this situation will pop in with advice
