Was burnt on a flight from Gatwick to Dubai. The stewardess spilled three cups of boiling coffee over me. Took a long time to get treated. Wrote to Tom Clark (a senior manager) and received a reply the next day. Took a while to send information they requested - couldn’t send to email address I was given. Replied to Tom Clark three weeks later explaining why I hadn’t replied. This was over three weeks ago and I have not had a reply. My very expensive (for me, definitely) holiday was spoiled by the burn and I had to get tops to cover burn, couldn’t go to the beach. Cape Town has some of the best beaches in the world. I was hoping for some compensation. I was told I’d get my fare back, at least. I’ve heard nothing. Tried to phone them but not ringing tone. Very disappointed by their lack of response!

I understand that the beaches in Cape Town may well be good, but you said your flight was to Dubai.
You haven't said what advice you seek, but I suggest you write to Tom's boss.
Have you considered consulting a lawyer about a personal injury claim? Bear in mind there are particular regulations relating to international flights, and short time limits for bringing claims.Lawyer (solicitor) - retired from practice, now supervising solicitor in a university law clinic. I do not advise by private message.
