    Student loans company

    I allegedly had a student loan in northern Ireland county Armagh from 1997 for £3600 it was managed by the student loans company and I haven't had any contact or made any payments since 2013. Today out of the blue I get an email from capquest saying they will accept £3100 as payment. It's a genuine email. What should I do ? Peter
