The Consumer Credit Act was 1974. The Consumer Regulations Act was 2015
Under CCA 74 the consumer can make a claim against the supplier (goods or service) and the credit provider, jointly or severally
Before making a claim the consumer must attempt to resolve the dispute with the supplier of goods or the service provider
The consumer should show in their claim that the supplier or service provider has breached consumer legislation and has suffered loss due to the breach, providing as much evidence as they can
The CRA 2015 is generally the legislation stated by the consumer regarding the breach
