Sky Direct Debit

Hoping for some help please. On reviewing my business account I noticed a Direct Debit to Sky for a TV package even though I do not have aSky TV. I contacted Sky they agree I have never had the service, someone else has using my bank details to make the payments. Sky are telling me I must go to the police, surely if they agree I never received the service they can refund me?

You've told them a crime has been committed, so want you to follow the correct protocols.

What you need to do is report it to Action Fraud, you can do it online.

You then need to report it to your bank, you'll be given reference / crime numbers by the police (you can do this online).

There's a Direct Debit Guarantee, you can furnish them with all the details.
