  • RLP notice

Good morning, Please I mistakingly forget to pay for an item in primark, I was called by the security to come and pay for the items , I'm busy on the phone with family issues and got carried away. No police was involved. But he has for my details. Name , DOB, address and mobile. I was given RLP ( Notice of intended civil recovery) what can I do . He said if I didn't respond to the letter from them that the police will come to my house . I live in Edinburgh Scotland. I'm very worried please can you advise me.

just type "Retail Loss Prevention" in search bar at top of page. This will give you lots of links to threads about them

Thank you so much for the advise. Do you think the police will come to my address or I'll be charge to court if I didn't pay. I'm just worried because of my career. Thank you

Police won't be involved, and there will be no criminal nor civil court action.
Just keep any letters they send, and if you are concerned come back and post on this thread for support
