Hi, i’ve got a letter from RLP COMPANY that i have to pay them 175£ because of my bad behaviour which i tried to still ke small thing but the store got me and i gave it back to the store manager and i was totally ok and i did no damages or anything to that thing i wanted to stole. I know that was a really bad behaviour and it was only once i did and wont do it again. But when they got me i told them that yes i took this and i hage them back asap and wrote down all my details so even i did not take so much time from the store manager. Why should i pay 175£ and i am a college student. If i pay this amount right now, i wont have my money to take my buses to the college and i am not even living with my family. Can anyone help me to what should i do?

Ignore them. You are not legally obliged to pay them £175 (or any other amount). The store got the items back undamaged and they can put them back on sale so the store has lost nothing.
They will write threatening letters to you for several months but ignore them all and eventually they stop sending them.
Search RLP on this forum and read some of the many other threads about RLP. We always advise ignoring them and so far no-one has ever come back to report that a court action has been started against them. All opinions expressed are based on my personal experience. I am not a lawyer and do not hold any legal qualifications.
