  • Order to Attend Court

A judgement was given against me and the claimant cannot recover the costs awarded against me by the court via Marstons Ltd. I have been served with a notice to present information, most probably financial. Is it worth getting legal advice and a solicitor involved? Is there any advice on attending? I believe if you don't attend it can be seen as contempt of court, and I also know that you don't have to answer questions if you don't want to! Cheers in advance legal beagles.

You would do well to read CPR 71.8: https://www.justice.gov.uk/courts/pr...art71#IDAPKYIC
Lawyer (solicitor) - retired from practice, now supervising solicitor in a university law clinic. I do not advise by private message.

Litigants in Person should download and read the Judiciary's handbook for litigants in person: https://www.judiciary.uk/wp-content/..._in_Person.pdf

I read the court order and the judgement creditor has actually stated my bank account number he wants to review? Is that at all legal?

I have just answered in your unnecessary duplicate thread. Please don't do that again.
