JackBrady11 there is no reason, unless they were called at the time, which you say they were not, for the police to have any knowledge of this incident. No it will not show up on any employment checks.

JackBrady11 you are worrying too much about this. Nothing is going to happen now. Shops rarely call the police for one one-off minor shoplifting, and if the do call them the police usually don't turn up for small amounts stolen.All opinions expressed are based on my personal experience. I am not a lawyer and do not hold any legal qualifications.

Two knowledgeable members of our community have given you consistent advice and you can see numerous other threads on this subject which advise similarly.
There is nothing more that we can further advise on this.
