  • Any experience of Lowell's paying the court fee and going ahead with a court hearing?

Hi everyone. I am in a dispute with Lowell's in regard to a debt they are trying to get me to pay. I have disputed with them and submitted questionnaire answers to my local county court. I have been sent a letter from the court, which has also been sent to Lowell's, the claimant. Lowell's need to pay a court fee by Christmas if the hearing is to go ahead. I just wondered whether anyone has experience of Lowell's actually paying the court fee and going ahead with the hearing? I have a feeling they will not pay since it is a cost borne by them and I have a feeling, as a business, they will try to avoid that. What do people think? Anybody have any similar experiences?
