    I erect scaffolings for a loacl housing trust and recieved an email from them today asking ne what my overheads are,whats my turnover, whats my profits are, Can they ak these qustions and do i have to answer,

    They can ask. You don't have to answer. I guess they are going to try to negotiate your prices downwards.
