Have lived in a HA house for over three years - done via a Mutual Exchange. Was told from outset we had two allocated Parking spaces across the Cul-de-sac which we hardly used - other resident used every day. Recently got new car and wanted spaces back - Housing officer eventually got guy to move - then visitors obstructed us constantly - leading to me taking photos and reporting to Police. On the third threat of violence called Police and person warned. Police said they had checked with Land Registry that we only had 1 Parking space - so I emailed housing association saying this is clear Maladministration - today got letter from Housing officer stating ''it had recently come to light about confusion of allocated parking spaces'' (I had been on for months about and have a trail of e-mails) it has now emerged that we only had 1 space and it is right in front of the door of another persons house (that person has always parked there). The Housing Association has not used due diligence and caused all this upset and we have gone through a very distressing period whilst persuing these issues. My partner is disabled and a Blue Badge holder - it appears we are suddenly having what we were always led to believe were our 2 Parking spaces Extinguished. We also got CCTV to cover our parked car across the Cul-de sac and that set off another war - with housing officer coming around unannounced with no appointment and demanding we remove CCTV immediately or they would take Court Action - she said we needed their permission and they would not give it! I asked for all that in writing and 19-days later after being prompted a letter arrive with a different version of events and was NOT signed.
Housing Association - Allocated Parking Wars!

...Just wanted to add the HA does allow residents CCTV as long as it covers own property - should not cover communal areas - this is not a block of flats, but they suggest public land is shared areas - our car is across the Cul-de sac - it cannot be avoided to cover the road in front! (If we would like to request permission for CCTV, we could fill out a form). Further, we were treating the Housing officer sudden visit as Harassment - the way she spoke to us and threatened us was further Harassment and really shook us up - and the letter purporting to be from her was NOT signed. COULD THE FOLLOWING APPLY TO OUR SITUATION? ''Harassment may be committed against two or more persons. This limb of the section 2 offence requires proof that the defendant intended to persuade any person not to do something that they are entitled or required to do, or to do something that they are not under an obligation to do''

Posting the same thread across multiple forum areas just adds confusion.
I will delete the one in the Court forum as it appears you do not have a court claim yet.If you would like a one-to-one expert consultation with me on your employment issue than I can be contacted by emailing admin@legalbeaglesgroup.com

Sorry, I am making a mess of this post - I hope somebody out there could give some advice/suggestions.
I wanted to add that we will now be deprived of any visitors as there is nowhere to park. Further, the non-resident son of a tenant occupies 3-allocated parking spaces (Two given to him by his dad, which is a Breach of the Tenancy Agreement) and he clearly runs a second hand car business, carrying out repairs on the road side - untaxed vehicles with no MOT - test driven up and down the road - sales for which I have photos and screenshots as evidence - I have pointed out to the HA who appear to have just turned a blind eye! Trading standards say they have found nothing untoward, that is if I had the correct department, and the Council say they visited and found no untaxed vehicles on the road. Bad timing!
Thank you.

How did his father get 3 bays allocated to him anyway?
