How do i respond to a N244 application

I am a defendant in a part 8 costs claim. I filed my acknowledgment of service together with my defence. The claimant (35days after my submission) has filled an N244 to have my defence struck out. I have written a response but do not know how and when i should submit can anyone guide me

CPR Practice direction 23A states in para 7.2 "Where a respondent wishes to rely on evidence [NB this includes written statements] which has not yet been served they should serve it as soon as possible and in accordance with any directions of the court.".
