Chased for debt I know nothing about

Hoping someone can give some advice pls. Last year I started receiving letters from Cabot financial stating I owed money for a Cahoot credit card.
I have been ignoring them as I don’t know anything about it and had been living outside the country from 2009 until end of 2021. I returned to the uk Dec 2021.
I don’t ever remember having a cahoot credit card.


Todays letter is from Orbit and states -

Home visit on behalf of Cabot Financial
Cabot financial have been trying to contact about to a debt that you originally owed to DLC- Cahoot (KH DP)
regarding CAHOOT -CREDIT CARD. To resolve the matter, Cabot Financial has asked Orbit - a specialist debt collection agency - to visit
your home to put you in touch with their team.

To prevent this visit to your home, you must contact Cabot on or before the 23 May 2024


As you can see the grammar is not even correct but I am wondering if I should just keep ignoring them.
I really don’t want some random person showing up at my door. Are they legally even allowed to do that?

It might be that the debt is Statute Barred.

But you don't have enough information to say for sure, you could send the following, see what they respond with, make sure you get Proof of Postage -

Orbit has no powers at all, they are just part of the mechanics of how debt collection agencies operate.
