  • How to have an incorrect Default removed!!??

    Hi There,

I have had a default attached to my credit report which is actually incorrect.

I have always have impeccable credit, never been in debt and this particular issue is really messing up my future prospects.

could anyone please advise some law firms that can help me get this removed asap?

    mamy thanks

Before reaching for law firms you need to contact the company that has registered this default and challenge it. Have you done that?

      Hiya,

Thank. I have had a 'notice of correction added' BUT I would of course prefer they entire thing be removed. Do you have any advice about trying to have this removed in its entirety?

If the default is incorrect and you have never been in debt what did the company who registered the default say when you pointed that out to them?

In general credit reference agencies will only remove defaults if the company who registered it tell them to.
