  • Orbit/Cabot

I have several accounts dating back over 10 years that are held with Cabot. The debt arose from when I was made redundant and I put repayment plans in place. I am still paying back these amounts each month and have never defaulted. Cabot constantly write offering to reduce the debt if I pay upfront/across 3 months. They message saying they are trying to contact me but I don't answer unknown calls. Orbit have now sent a text saying they are going to visit my home. I don't have the money to pay them and although I am working again, we are still struggling with the high interest rates and cost of living payments. I really don't want to speak to anyone and I certainly don't want someone turning up at my house.

There was never a CCJ issued and as I say, I have continued to make the agreed payments. I feel seriously stressed about this and I already suffer with anxiety. Please advise as to what I should do?

    Thanks very much
