Please I need your help, I don’t know what to do again as the DCB legal Ltd as taken me to court and made me pay £285.
I lodged in Holiday Inn Express where parking is free for guest. A parking fine was sent to me by Parkmaven and I went to back to the hotel to let them know but the receptionist said there’s nothing she can do about it as the parking is operated by Parkmaven.
I went back to the hotel again and spoke to another person who then sent an email to Parkmaven to cancel the ticket and I was copied into the email.
Parkmaven responded to say the fine has been passed to DCBL. Despite my effort to resolve this matter with Holiday Inn, and their message to Parkmaven to cancel the ticket, I was served a court claim form on the 14Feb and and a court judgement dated 06-March 2024 with CCJ.
I went back to the hotel with this letter and the receptionist sent an email to Parkmaven on the 19 March to refund the £285 to me on but yet to receive response nor payment.
On the 19 March, I receive another letter with enclosed copy correspondence that has been filled with the court seeking an Order in the following Terms, pursuant to CPR 13.2:
    1. The judgment entered on the 06/03/2024 is cancelled 2. The registration is cancelled 3. The claim is dismissed 4. No Order as to costs
Please I need your advise on my right and what to do in this situation.

The last letter you have received from DCB L encloses an application they have made to the court to cancel the earlier judgement against you, remove the CCJ from the register of judgements at no cost to you.

You should hear from the court in due course, and when the order is issued you should receive a refund.

Looks as if your persistence with Holiday inn has paid off ..... congratulations and well done
